Biography:
Hello. I’m Peggy Weyand. I’m usually the first person you speak to when you call Cathy R. Cook, Attorneys at Law. I’m the legal assistant and have worked here since 2018. I brought over 37 years of administrative and customer service skills with me when I started here.
Having been raised in a family-owned business, I know just how important it is to serve the client. Because I’ve been divorced myself, I understand the stress and anxiety our clients are experiencing when they call our office for help. My goal is to make your experience with our office as efficient and pleasant as possible with quick answers and fast, caring service. I believe we help our clients begin rebuilding their lives the moment they call our office for help. That is my focus.
While I’ve had many different jobs over the years, my most important to date was my job as Emma’s mom. I couldn’t be more proud of the woman she’s become. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UC’s DAAP program and then pursued a Masters in Art Therapy at the University of Louisville. She seems to have inherited the best qualities of her parents, who, by the way, are divorced and continue to rally around her as a family. Yes, it is possible to be friends after divorce.
